Enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with the whole family at the Rainy Lake Nordic Centre.  Cook hot dogs on an outdoor fire and warm up with Hot Chocolate.

Join us every Tuesday evening - weather permitting - at the Sorting Gap Marina for Free Community Paddles in a Dragon Boat hosted by our local International Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Club. Paddles and life jackets are supplied!

RR District Paramedics vs. Canada Border Services

The Rainy River District Paramedic Service and the Canada Border Services Agency are facing off in the first ever "Battle of the Blues." Admission is free with a non-pershable food item. Donations will go in support of the "Loaves & Fishes" program at New Beginnings Fellowship.

Ice Dragons Challenge

10 person teams.

3 divisions: men's, wonen's and mixed.  Medals for each division.

7th Annual International Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Festival

BOATS WILL BE LAUNCHED FROM BOTH THE US AND CANADA, AND WILL MEET IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RAINY RIVER TO RACE THE 300 M COURSE. *PLEASE INDICATE WHICH SIDE OF THE BORDER YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR TEAM CAMP TO BE SITUATED ON. Teams are of a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 20 paddlers. Mixed teams must have a minimum of 10 female paddlers. All teams must have a drummer and a steersman. Certified festival steers are available at no extra cost. FESTIVAL TEAMS:

Fore! The Memories Charity Golf Tournament

The Alzheimer Society of Kenora/Rainy River Districts presents the Fore! The Memories Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, July 7th at Kitchen Creek Golf Club.
